Post-apocalyptic ‘I Am Legend’ style The Last of Us has a new trailer highlighting even more things that can go wrong in a world without civilization. The Last of Us will be a PS3 exclusive that is being developed by Naughty Dog and will follow the journey of Joel and Ellie as they try to survive in a world without order.

Sony is expected to focus heavily on Naughty Dog productions; The Last of Us and Uncharted at this years E3 both titles being Playstation exclusives. Until we get more information about the game from this year’s big gaming events this trailer will have to make do. Enjoy!

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock has just received its very first trailer and we have it for you to enjoy below in all its glory. Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will give players that chance to take on the role of the Doctor along with recurring character River Song.

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be making its way to PC, PS3 and PS Vita, although no launch date has currently been announced.

Many users have experienced problems with Diablo 3 since it came out just a few days ago and Blizzard have now openly admitted that they were not as prepared for the overwhelming fan response to the game as they could have been. In a post on the official Diablo 3 forums, Blizzard have said:

“As many of you are aware, technical issues occurring within hours after the game’s launch led to players experiencing error messages and difficulty logging in. These issues cropped up again last night for the Americas and Europe servers. Despite very aggressive projections, our preparations for the launch of the game did not go far enough.

“To that end, we’d also like to say that we’ve been humbled by your enthusiasm–and we sincerely regret that your crusade to bring down the Lord of Terror was thwarted not by mobs of demons, but by mortal infrastructure.”

As a result of the issues that the game has seen since launch, Blizzard have decided that the Diablo 3 real money auction house will now not be released in the immediate future, but will instead be delayed until other issues are resolved.

So as the vast majority of the internet, and the world as a whole will now be aware, Diablo 3 is finally upon us. Here at Botchweed we’ll be bringing you plenty of Diablo 3 videos over the next few days which will hopefully give you some insight into how the game works. Crystal Dynamics head Darrell Gallagher explained the reasoning behind the delay in a recent blog post:

Our priority now is to make sure we fully deliver the very highest quality game. In order to do this, we have decided to move the game’s release date by a few months, from Fall 2012 to the first quarter of 2013.

We’re doing things that are completely new to Tomb Raider in this game and the additional development time will allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the right choice and I guarantee it will be worth the wait. The game is looking amazing and we can’t wait to show it to everyone at E3 in a few weeks.

That’s right, there’s a MMO set in the Elder Scrolls universe in the works. The title is being developed by Zenimax Media and is currently due to release in 2013. Check out the game’s announcement trailer below.

The latest trailer walks us through the various (and pretty violent) ways you can kill enemies in the game. It looks like you’ll have a lot of choice, which is most definitely a good thing.

The portable version of the collection is sadly missing the upscaled, dual analog version of the PSP title MGS: Peace Walker found in the console versions. However, it does include Metal Gear 1 and 2 as well as touched-up versions of MGS 2 and 3. It also takes advantage of the Vita’s unique control scheme.

The collection will also make use of Kojima Productions’ ‘Transfarring’ system, which enables players to share game data with their PS3.

The game is being developed by SuperBot Entertainment, a studio Sony has specifically created for the task. According to Sony, the roster will consist of characters from their game catalogue as well as top third-party characters. Also featured in the game are themed stages, a story mode and four player matches both locally and online.

The announcement video below shows footage of the game’s characters in action as well as commentary from the game’s director, Omar Kendall who has previously worked on UFC Undisputed 2010 and 2009 as well as the Guitar Hero series.

The Paul Gale Network has reported both Nathan Drake from Uncharted and Jak & Daxter will be joining the list of already confirmed cast of characters, and considering the accuracy of some of the other information they’ve posted on the game, it looks like a safe bet.

Hines announced the news via his personal twitter account, tweeting:

I am working on getting a little more info out on Skyrim/DLC. Maybe next week? We’ll see…

 

The DLC will arrive on Xbox 360 first thanks to an exclusivity deal with Microsoft. It will release on PS3 and PC 30 days after it’s launched on Xbox 360.

Hines went on to say that he’s trying to find out when Kinect functionality will be added to the game, so it’s possible we’ll hear more about that next week as well. Thankfully, it’ll only add voice commands and won’t make Xbox owners flail their limbs like an awkward geek at a rave in order to slay dragons with their sword.
