Darksiders II Dated, Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed
Darksiders II, the sequel to 2010′s surprisingly solid hack-and-slash adventure title will be releasing on June 26th in the US, with a UK release following on June 29th.
Darksiders II is set alongside the original game and stars Death, a Horseman of the Apocalypse. The story follows Death’s journey to clear the name of his brother War, who was falsely accused of prematurely starting the apocalypse in the original game.
People who pre-order the game from GAME, Gamestation and Gamestop (Ireland only) will get the “Deadly Rides” DLC pack including exclusive side quests which allow players to “explore more of the Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains and earn additional experience and loot. Aid an ancient Construct, battle The Bloodless and retrieve Karn’s lost treasure.”
In addition, players who preorder from an undecided retailer will receive the “Angel of Death” pack which gives Death “a unique set of enhanced armour with an angel inspired design as well as a pair of upgraded matching scythes and a exclusive visual trail for your companion crow Dust.”
Pre-orders from Amazon UK will get the “Deadly Despair” DLC which gives Death’s horse, Despair a permanent speed boost.
