Epic New Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Trailer
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is being developed by Capcom and Slant Six Games and it’s shaping up to be a good, albeit different take on the Resident Evil franchise. This isn’t a survival horror game – it’s a third-person shooter.
The game is set between the second and third Resident Evil games. The Umbrella Corporation’s T-virus has turned the civilians of Raccoon City into zombies. The Umbrella Security Service (USS) has been sent into the doomed city to try and cover up the mess while the US Spec Ops are there with the intention of exposing the evil corporation to the world. The conflict between these factions is the driving force behind the game.
Judging by the lengthy CG trailer below, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is going to be an action-packed game which offers a lot of fan service whilst simultaneously pushing the long-running franchise in a new, refreshing direction.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is due to release in North America on March 20th and Europe on March 23rd.
