Final Fantasy XIII-2 Time Travel Trailer
One of the biggest criticisms of Final Fantasy XIII was that it was ridiculously linear. This helps explain why Square Enix decided to include a time travel gameplay mechanic in its sequel.
Fortunately, the process of time travel in FFXIII-2 is much easier than reaching 88.8mph in a Delorean and simply involves passing through gates located throughout the game’s world. Check out the below video to see how time travel works in the game for yourself.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is due out in the US on January 31st and Europe on February 3rd. The game’s demo is now available to download on PSN and XBLA if you fancy trying it out before you buy it.
