Modern Warfare 3 Already Hacked on PC
Some pesky, cheating bastards have successfully hacked the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 just days after its release.
The aimbot package ensures that every shot the player fires is on target and basically turns even the most retarded CoD player into an unstoppable killing machine. This kind of hack attracts all kinds of scum – from the lazy folks who want to level up quickly to trolls who just enjoy ruining games for people.
The issue is exacerbated by MW3′s matchmaking system. There’s just no way to kick or ban players that are obviously cheating due to the lack of server admins. MW2 saw similar problems, and standard protocol was to report the suspected hacker to Steam. However, this is unfortunately not really an effective way of dealing with the problem as Steam receives many complaints from sore losers who assume that anyone with superior skill to them must be cheating.

It’s truly annoying that no effort has been made to prevent people from hacking in MW3. What do you think can be done to stop hacking like this in the future?

Mmm……… I find it rather funny that a game can be duplicated and spat out so many times before the morons who buy this crap eventually realise that its the same game just different maps.

Wow 60$ got home sit down to get shot thru the walls what a wast of my time and money. People have such big ego’s in fps that they have to resort to hacking when they cant hang with the big dog’s. Sad thing is Activision should have been on top of this sort of thing for atleast the 1st month of the games relese. This is a slap in the face to ppl that have spent there hard earned money. got me this time Activision see if it happens ever agin!
Unfortunately, Dave, I can think of 9 and a half million pre-ordered reasons why the dev’s wouldn’t care enough to put more effort in. Stop pre-ordering, people!

I don’t understand why developers don’t use some user quality rating system. Just like the one from XBOX Live or similar.
You don’t get to kick the cheater from a game, but if someone has a really low rating based on a lot of users opinion, he should end playing with guys as bad as he is
If you were able to kick cheaters you’d be able to kick good players in every game, and guys with a good rank will be getting booted from every game…
I’m sick of being accused of hacking every time I own noobs.
I basically uninstalled my version of MW3 until they add dedicated servers for ranking up.
If it’s not someone hacking, then it’s the lag and host migrations.
Black ops allowed ranking up on dedicated servers. Why is Infinity Ward now allowing this?
From my understanding it was to prevent hackers, and I think everyone has encountered a hacker already in the last few days. It’s a shame. Hopefully Counter Strike: GO will be good!

Nope not surprised at all!!! Its mw2 with a cod 4 patch and the mw2 hacks work. Same config as Mw2….. Good job IW Hard to believe the developers are gonna be the ones to kill this once a great game. Again Good Job IW dumbasses!!!!!
Well modern warfare 3 on the wii was hacked on since the 1st day it came out and it looks like the devs dont give a crap. So stop your f’ing whining.atleast they will do something for the pc.
There should be a vote kick. Even if the suspected hacker was on my team I’d sure vote to kick. The hackers in MW2 were blatant because nobody could do anything. At least with Black Ops they had to try to blend in or risk getting kicked/banned.
I really think a vote to kick would help a bunch.
I am ( was) a big fan of COD, but just like alot of people have said, not having any way to control or stop HACKERS, CHEATERS AND OTHER UNFRIENDLIES…this series is going to kill its self. MW3 just like MW2, will just be a cheaters heaven.
Wake UP InWARD…you want a game with some control over the BULLSHIT. Help out the gamers who don’t want to cheat…give us some control back.

I’m too busy playing good games to read the article. Sonic Generations, Minecraft RC1 coming out, Skyrim… really shows how disgraceful MW3 is.
Personally I think people who cheat are just lazy and dont know how to play games properly, what do you get out of cheating ABSOLUTE NOTHING! its mostly kids who do it and are dumb anyway, dont even know how to play the game properly. Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games did get a team to see if there were any glitches and what have you but it seems they didnt pay attention to their feedback. Its annoying seeing people who have prestiged and are doing glitches, just ruins the game end off and whats also annoying is they camp. MW3 is full of campers ‘We have addressed the camping issue and improved it’ Yeah right, improved it even more for them as there more camping spots than MW2. Really winds me up this sort of stuff :@ :@
MW3 is a joke and only wish I could get my money back. I WON’T buy another MW game Cheaters ruin this game. I guess I’m one of the 9.5 million dummmies for buying this stupid worthless, hacker-paridise game. I mean, how hard can it be to detect and kick cheats?
i play today like 10 games and 3 of that games people was using aimbot, that sucks.
As dave said in the old days they used to map packs cheaper and patches for badly designed games that can be hacked.
Maybe its about time the so called developers started earning some money doing their job instead of ripping us all off.

I bought it for the campaign mode — worth it.
Wish i had kept my cash or given it to charity a few days and its full of hackers spoiling everyones fun.
Activision has done all it can do. PC version will not have the $50.00 Elite service which is warranted. Why waste your money on something other people are going to ruin. I actually applaud Activision, they have found a way to convince people to buy their games over and over and yet keep the game (multiplayer) viable.
its kinda sad how hackers pay for this game and then pay $20+ a month for the hacks just because they cant play. i am a ex hacker i played black ops with hacks for a month and hated it, i was getting a better score when i was legit and had more fun. and fyi you can get this game for about 1/3rd of the price if you buy it from ebay like i did, got mines for $23 the steam version been playing online for the past 2 days
I just wanted to say that the hacks are sad but to whomever posted the video saying that he didn’t die once was wrong you can see about 3/4 the way through where he gets a payback bonus. Just saying…:D
Well to prevent hackers like this we should have an elite Hit squad of ninjas That bust down your door and beat you to a pulp then destroy you computer and cheating devices and cut off your hands so you cant cheat ever again hope i helped

I have one word that will fix the issue MW3SA!!!
just like MW2SA but meant for MW3. the only down fall is you need to be host. All it is a Packet Sniffing program that can prevent the Offenders PC from sending packets to your PC. This causes a time out effect. Obviously you never played MW2 for PC….

Every time a new hack comes out in modern warfare 3 or any other game the makers of the game to to release the same hack to all the players for free so we are all on the same level only the hackers lost money buying their hack.
I pay $50 bucks for a game thats full of cheats. I feel cheated by the makers of this game since all i do is die. The cheating is rampant!!!!! I am soooo pissed. I quit. Screw them and Steam.

Hacks = illegal , and dumb and ruins , I havent seen a hacker yet but im sure i will!
I won’t moan but simple I will not ever buy another mw game simply because of the vast amount of hackers 4 out of 10 games are hackers and not just good players

Game is clearly overrun with hax, not a shred of doubt.
Horrible so many hacks these last few weeks. Every server at least with one hacker. The game is unplayable. Never an MWgame again unless they do something about it. A vote-kick should do fine.
