Mortal Kombat to Punch PS Vita Owners in the Face in 2012
If your life just isn’t complete without having an awesomely brutal fighter that you can play on the toilet, then today is your lucky day! Warner Bros. has announced that Mortal Kombat will be coming to Sony’s brand spanking new PS Vita handheld this spring.
Series creator Ed Boon said the title will make use of Vita’s unique features and will have new and exclusive content:
The NetherRealm team is committed to making sure that we follow up the success of 2011’s Mortal Kombat with an equally compelling experience on the PlayStation Vita.
The original game content and new features we developed for the PlayStation Vita will provide gamers with the best fighting game experience available on the new mobile platform.
It looks like the PS Vita will be heaven for fighting fans. It’s already getting Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend and Street Fighter x Tekken. Now you can add Mortal Kombat to the list as well!
