Rumor: Is Battlefield 2143 DICE’s Next Game?
According to an easter egg in BF3′s recently released Back to Karkand DLC, DICE’s next title may be Battlefield 2143.
Players have spotted “2143″ written on a wall in the DLC’s Wake Island map (pictured above). While this may not sound like much to go on to the folks who have only got into Battlefield recently, veteran fans will no doubt recall that DICE used similar tactics in Battlefield 2 to announce Battlefield 2142 back in 2006.
What do you make of all this? Personally, I’m hoping DICE release Mirror’s Edge 2 before Battlefield 2143.

Could be BF3′s expansion equivilant of BF:BC2′s Vietnam expansion. I’d like it to be at least, rather than an entirely new game.
I would like to stomp about in a walking tank again though..
I rather see Bad Company 3 come out before all else to see how the story ends. But then again who knows what DICE has planned.
