Magicka Sells 200k Units, DLC Coming
Magicka has only been out for 17 days, but in that short period of time the game has gone on to sell 200,000 copies. That’s pretty amazing for such a small-team with almost no advertising push.
Many have complained about technical issues with the game and Arrowhead Studios is trying to fix everything that they possibly can, so your Magicka experience will only get better from here. As for downloadable content Paradox producer Mattias Lilja says, “the release plan includes both free and paid.” Lilja also went on to say that if Magicka continues to sell well, there is a possibility of a sequel.
